Accounts Payable Wholesale Clerk

Kelson is looking for an Accounts Payable individual with qualities who will be instrumental in the success and achievements of Kelson over the long term. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years experience.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Entry of daily wholesaler invoices (line materials and fixtures): Price checking line material items to ensure we are paying the correct amount, Assisting PM’s with fixture PO reconciliation, Reviewing month end statements from suppliers and ensuring invoices aren’t missed
  • Prepare bank deposits and cheque run for mid-month and month-end payments and ensuring payments are made in accordance with company policy (net15 or net30 days)
  • Entering, allocating and paying monthly utilities
  • Processing change order revisions
  • Provide year end reports to controller for the allocated bills
  • Provide needed invoices and documents to auditors at year end
  • Providing backup to reception and answering calls to the mail lines
  • Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills and high proficiency in English
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong computer skills including project management software
