Summary
John C. Rogers / Kelson Group is looking for AZ Drivers to join our team serving the GTA and surrounding areas, based out of Whitby. What You Can Expect: This is a full-time position with 40 hours per week on a flexible day shift schedule, with overtime available and paid in accordance with applicable rules. Drivers can expect local routes, allowing them to return home every day. After 90 days of employment, employees become eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, prescription drug coverage, and an Employee and Family Assistance (EFA) program. Key Responsibilities
- We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $27.00 to $31.50, based on experience.
- Complete local deliveries across the GTA and neighbouring areas
- Operate trucks safely and professionally
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections
- Keep accurate records (delivery logs, temperature logs, etc.)
- Verify deliveries and manage paperwork at customer sites
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Comfortable working in various weather and road conditions
Desired Skills & Experience
- 1–2+ years of verifiable AZ driving experience
- Valid Class 1/AZ licence
- Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role
