Summary

The Accounts Payable role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of wholesaler and miscellaneous invoices, ensuring pricing verification, proper coding, and compliance with company accounting and tax standards. This position manages purchase order revisions, processes payments in accordance with company policies, and performs monthly supplier statement reconciliations. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. A collaborative team player with strong communication skills, they will work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, provide backup reception support as needed, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems is required; with accounts payable training or experience considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record, verify pricing and process wholesaler invoices in a timely manner.
  • Process payments to wholesalers in accordance with the Company’s payment policies.
  • Revise purchase orders and ensure correct allocation for accounting and tax purposes.
  • Review, record and pay miscellaneous invoices within deadlines.
  • Review and reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis.
  • Providing backup coverage to reception during absences and peak periods.
  • Other duties as assigned.
