Summary
This role requires an individual with strong organizational skills who is able to think like a team player and ensure co-ordination and prioritization of multiple demands. The ideal candidate for this job has both knowledge of tools and mechanical aptitude is seeking to work in an indoor shop environment with a leading, well established, mechanical construction team with a progressive stable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily staging, loading and unloading of tools
- Daily picking and restocking of tools
- Tool maintenance (clean and review returning tools, replenish missing components, determine if service/repair is required
- Monthly cycle counts and yearly inventory of tools
- Deletion and removal of old, damages and/or obsolete tools
- Visual inspections and coordinate annual inspections
- New apprentice tool training
- Minor building maintenance
- Assist with the Daily ins and Outs of all Tools from the Tool Crib
- The expected salary range for this position is $50,000–$65,000, based on experience and qualifications. The final salary will be determined upon offer.
