Work on this contract involved mechanical equipment and services located at the National Research Council (NRC) and along Sussex Drive in Ottawa. Kelson’s work included general fit up and construction within an existing boiler plant and construction of new underground piping. Kelson installed: High-pressure steam and condensate piping for two boilers and associated equipment. Complete natural gas and liquified petroleum gas systems. No. 2 oil system with 189,000 L capacity. HVAC system for mechanical room. Underground high-pressure steam, condensate, and chilled water lines.
