The Lassonde School of Engineering will be a five-storey building with amenities for 70 faculty members and 2000 students, answering York University's vision of a school for engineering excellence. The new building will have academic spaces (classrooms, seminar rooms, labs), student spaces (collaborative space, lounge), administration areas, and mechanical and electrical support areas.
Mechanical Systems
Kelson will perform construction management in this Design-Assist project, which incorporates an open book package procurement process. Our scope of work includes the following mechanical services and equipment:
Level 350 BIM
Ten air handling units with energy recovery
Laboratory fans and exhaust systems
Process cooling
Steam humidification
Hydronic heating systems
