Upon completion of the six-storey addition to Mount Sinai’s Murray Street wing, work began on the new shell. This project encompassed not only fit-up work, but also alterations to several floors of the hospital, related to a number of different healthcare services: in-patient programs, operating rooms, neonatal intensive care, and ambulatory care. A pharmacy, general office area, and generator room were also included in the project. In all, over 96,000 square feet were renovated.
